Curious if anyone has a recent report from Oasis Tulum. I know it went through a transition and sounds like it was even closed for renovations last month. We did ABR last year and are planning on returning to the Akumal area next spring. Oasis Tulum had a great deal and their cutoff for kids is 12 (not 11 like ABR, which makes even the good ABR deals spendy with our 2 kids). But before we commit to a new place, we want to have some more info. There are some horrible reviews out there, but also some good ones (similar to what you find about ABR). We want a good beach, good snorkeling, volleyball, and decent food and beverages. Beyond that...everything's a bonus!

Thanks for the heads up about the live report on TA (have to admit, I didn't know what TA was, but I figured it out now...Trip Advisor forums:)

Sounds like it could be OK by April, think we might take our chances and go for it!

Hey Gato - Que tal? I think that means what up. Just got home a couple days ago. Am still seriously spaced out but I did my trip report - nothing real exciting just the facts so will embellish if asked to do so. So if anyone has any questions let me know.

I am lovesmexico on TA. Came home to a cold so haven't been on too much! It was great meeting Noodlelady and Mr Noodlelady!! I extended my trip to a full 2 weeks. We enjoyed ourselves! Hubby got to fish with Trollboy! Finally!
