I know that I have seen posted awhile back a list of the distance between various spots in Akumal, Half Moon Bay, and Yal Ku. Anyone have an idea where that might be. Thanks.

Here is Whale's list!!!

Some measured distances in the Akumal Area.

Akumal Beach Resort to Akumal arch via highway (the only way to drive) - .89 miles.
Akumal Beach Resort to Yal Ku Lagoon via higway - 2.43 miles.
Akumal Beach Resort front desk to Highway 307 - 1,147 feet.
Akumal Arch to Yal Ku via road (the only way to get there) - 1.46 miles.
Akumal Arch to La Buena Vida - .73 miles.
Akumal Arch to Lol Ha Beach Bar - 307 feet.
Akumal Arch to Hekab be library - 433 feet.
Akumal Arch to Cueva del Pescador - 269 feet.
Akumal Arch to Highway 307 - 1,777 feet.
Akumal Arch to Cyber Akumal - 82 feet.
Akumal Arch to Akumal Beach - 414 feet.
Lol Ha Beach Bar to Moonrise Bar at ABR - 1,039 feet.
Lol Ha Beach Bar to the dining room at ABR - 1,898 feet.
Lol Ha Beach Bar to the center of Building 6 at ABR - 2,387 feet.
Lol Ha Beach Bar to the webcam - 63 feet.
Lol Ha to center of the turtle grass area (Kantaris catamaran anchorage) - 363 feet.
Beach in front of Moonrise Bar (ABR) to the reef - 1,222 feet.
A football field = 300 feet.

And why is it that the reef seems way closer than the walk to 307??

Although, I do not recommend using them on the walk to 307, but that's just me.

Note: All distances follow a straight line. The distances FROM Cueva del Pescador to any of these may sometimes be longer....
