Not a big trip report. Just a few pics but if you are friends with me on Facebook you know this was a different sort of trip. The fun was giving. My girl is amazing. She brought so much for the kids. We gave out gifts in Akumal, PdC, and a bunch went to a school in Tulum. This all wouldn't be possible without a beautiful young lady named Cammie.

Oh you know we had some fun in Akumal.

And some chilling in PdC.

And we drove to Xamach Dos. Beautiful!

The road is being graded...NOT HERE!

Check out Xamach!

And of course mi amigo en Tulum.

Great shots, Dung!

I remember that dawg, too. Very friendly and a good opportunity to get your dog fix.

Very nice pix Doug!!! Sometimes a little more purpose than beach crawlin makes for a beautiful trip!!! Not that there's anything wrong with beach crawl! Just a well balanced vacay is a wonderful thing!

Way cool ~ the picture of the boy coloring is priceless!

We drove to Xamach last time to check it out. Would be fun to stay sometime! Had a pretty yummy Coco-Loco while visiting. On the way back, it was dusk and there were little crabs crawling all over the road ~ good day

The best kind of trips. Thank you for sharing . Did you both just bust up at your sign? walking out of the terminal seeing that would be so funny. What a start to your trip. Did you snorkel at Xamach? Not sure if I'm spelling that right. I was wondering about the snorkeling.

I was just so excited to be there. Cammie grabbed it for me otherwise I would have just left it. We took the sea kayak out at Xamach but didn't bring our gear. I left my snorkel stuff at the bar in the airport.

The other thing that happened was our clutch went out right in front of Super Chomak but they were there within 20 minutes with a new car.

Actually, my phone charger died so it was her phone that was used for pics. However, here she is with my Easyway car rental sign.

That's funny!
My wife has a friend who's name is Jim Jung.  He said when he went to Mexico, one guy kept calling him Him Hung.

(ETA- Cammie kinda reminds me of Kim Basinger.)

Doug,

What stuff do you think the kids liked the most?

Just like all children, toys! So what it comes down to is what can you pack easily. We had lots of colors, coloring books, small cars for the boys, blow up balls. I forgot what Cambria had for the girls because boys are my specialty. Then I met Jackie Moguel on Facebook who is trying to run a small school in Tulum so we went and purchased lots of spiral notebooks, pencils, and pens on our trip into PdC. We also left the universal gift of cash at iTour. Hopefully Alma does the hand off and it helps a little bit.

Here's a link to pictures of the school they are trying to create.
