ORIGINAL: xelgoer yes, Crazy Horse and I don't think we'll see it finished in our lifetimes. 105 degree weather...... I don't last long at all. We were riding thru Boise and I had to motion for everybody to stop, I was so hot. I almost passed out in the restroom of the gas station we pulled into. Water, water, water. Some lady was using the water outside to hose off her pants and her back. Ya gotta keep hydrated, even though you are riding. I bought a mister after that. i saw crazy horse in 72. its come a long way but your right, not in our life time. private venture and all. CALLING GOOBER............................. did you make it? and are you have a blast or what? i sure miss going there, its such a fun time, AND LOUD. i'd rather ride comfortably on 4 wheels and a/c to a place like this. no matter how you get there its a long hot road.

We are here! Having a good time! It's a lot to cram into a few days, but we knew that going in. So far we have walked around the vendor exhibits at the Rapid City HD dealer, went to the Slash w/Miles Kennedie concert, tootled about the main street area looking at bikes, vendors and making our way in and out of the bars - I met Ryan Hurst (Opie from Sons of Anarchy) at Easyriders! Today we are gonna tour about, check out the Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, Crazy Horse and Mt Rushmore. Hoping to see some wildlife and pretty scenery. A lot of bikes and RV's pulled out yesterday but there are still thousands of bikes and ppl watching to do. Juan - I tried finding the Roadkill Cafe, even asked a couple of police where it was and they figure it's been closed for the last couple of years, one had heard of it but the rest of them had no idea what I talking about.
