Can you walk from the Mezz. To Ziggys or are there rocks in the way at some point? Thought I remember see a cove about half way that looked passable on the hiway. We've never walked the beach. Just stayed at Ziggys. And last year La Zebra was closed. It was Sept. But we discovered matteos for the sunset from the roof and the food looked great. We just drank. And we found the Sandbar! We loved sitting in the big adarondack chairs by the ocean. A e they still open? Thanks, swamp

Lots of ironshore between Mezz and Ziggy! I would never recommend a friend try to walk the beach. You can walk the beach road with a nice sidewalk for some of the way, but you should be prepared for 2 or 3 mile walk in the jungle heat with no relief from the tradewinds. Bring water!

Rent a bike or if you are staying at Ziggy use their free ones. Not the greatest bikes but they get you fron A to B.We used their bikes and rode to the ruins, stopped at Mezz and rode back.If you want to walk the beach it takes about 1 hour from Ziggy to Zamas.

Several Friday night options. Usually something is happening at Zamas. However, this is slow season right now so you'll need to ask or possibly email them. The big party on Friday night is Mezzanine. They have quality DJs from all over the globe spinning music starting at 9p and going until late. The best place to walk the beach is a different story. I would start at either Las Ranitas or OM and head north with stops at La Zebra, Parayso, maybe Los Lirios, definitely Ziggy for 2 for 1 and Playa Azul. These places are a few miles apart so I would seek out the always handy taxi cabs.
