And it definitely qualifies as a dive.
But hey, two 1/3 pound cheeseburgers, an order of fries, a bottle of Mich Golden and a humongous Fat Tire for $14.50 for the two of us?!?!

The Anchor is our favorite place to stop when in the Twin Ports, friends of ours were in the background in the Diners, Dives and Driveins episode.

One of our local restaurants was on there. The Parkette Drive-in.

I only get their shrimp tho.

Have you ever eaten at the Hammond Steak House in Superior? It looks like it's been there forever. And ya gotta love it that the liquor store on the first floor sells steaks!

I looooove trying D,D,&D places! Sometimes they are total fails and I wonder what Guy was drinking before he ooh'd and aww'd over the dive speciality and other times they are awesome finds.

My local D,D,&D place rocks - marinated pork street tacos, so good, so cheap, and less than a mile from home!!

Yeah, we've eaten there Jim, they are famous for their steaks. As for the liquor store, when I was young & foolish, I stopped there many times on my way home after either a boxing match or rock concert at the Duluth Arena.

There's a Pakistani restaurant not far from my home that made the list. I think it sits in an old Dairy Queen location. Haven't tried it yet but I hear it's ok.
