So I was reading on the restaurant forum that it was still open in May. We met the owners last summer while we were waiting on flat chik. To cook. Very nice peeps. They invited us in before they opened for business, made us margaritas for breakfast ( we wernt gonna miss out on flat chix.) and we visited for a while. We heard they were only going to give it maybe another 6months or so. So are they still open and how's the food? Would love to take our business there. If for no other reason than to have a good marg. Thanks, Swamp

I do believe you mean "Tequilaville".
Yes, they are still open. Ken took a job in Jamaica last February, and yes, they did have a buyer for the place, but Ken later changed his mind and returned to Akumal.

Ooops!!! Yeah. Tequilaville! Guess apparently I've got margaritas and Jimmy Buffett on my mind! So how's the food?

"YET" being the relevant word here.

Ken and Mary Anderson are nice people. They remembered my face after quite some time so I'm sure they would be very happy if you stopped in and said hello. Mary collects clothing for the locals if you want to bring down any gently worn articles.

Maybe someone can help me find them online? Facebook or some other social media?
