My family and I want to drive to xcalak and take boat over to Belize and then go back to xcalak and stay one night there. Any reccommendations where to stay for one night with two pre teen girls. We are staying at abr in akumal and want to see Belize but can't drive our rental car out of the country. So we here you can go to dive shop and take boat.
Any comments or suggestions appreciated

XTC divers will take you by boat to San Pedro. I believe most of the fishing operations will do it too.
I stayed at Casa Caroline but they seem to be more set up for couples . Tierra Maya may have a suite for 4. Possibly Costa de Cocos also.

Tierra Maya has added two rooms, one of which is a two bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and a small kitchen, nice place and owners, have stayed there before in the past.

If you rent a car from www.cancunrentacar.com you can take it to Belize.

Just a suggestion.

Don't know what u decided about this but you would need to drive to Xcalak, spend the night, go to Belize then spend another night and return to ABR the next morning unless you drive back to Akumal which is dependent on your comfort level. The trip to Belize will take all day.
