We'll be there in August, and will post a full report. If the day trippers and the families are still out of control we may have to consider another vacation location from now on. I just couldn't bare to watch it all be ruined just for the sake of commerce.

latest reports are pretty low key

Its those wild wedding parties that we need to put a lid on

I echo some of the comments and complaints about the Mexicans and the kids stanching, grabbing, screaming and yelling at ABR. Was there April 29-June 26, 2012. Just found places where they were not. Never went in the main pool for much of the same reason as voiced. FYI, I do Food Demos at a Sam's Club near my home. I must say, I dread seeing this same kind of families coming in and doing the same thing over a "tiny bite of sample" Kinda made me feel I was back at work while at ABR.

So, this is what I demoed at ABR. . .smile it is all posed. My team back loved the photo and the demo

Oh you know it!!

Im starting to relax about it a bit now that Im reading more recent reports. Sounds like it's going to be noisy and busy during high season and holidays, but, we never go that time of year anyway. When we were there in Sept last year, the local families were only there for Sat and Sun, and they were booked into buildings 6 and 7. There was a fair amount of kids tearing around the place, and plenty of diaper changing by the pool. The beach was quiet though.

And I'm not sure it is just a "high season" issue. My daughter and I noticed this as well when we were down end of November/beginning of December as well.

I'm talking August/September. This stuff IS a non-issue, it's a big reason we go at that time and risk the H storms.

JUST SAW THIS THREAD AND HAD TO GIVE OUR EXPERIENCE- we were there this Nov. and over the weekend noticed ALOT of hispanic families at the resort. which is totally fine-no problemo. We thought , "wow, there must be a wedding here this weekend". No, no wedding, just alot of unruly kids running around, cutting in front of you at the buffet (no excuse me's, either) screaming, etc. It was very unpleasant for the 2 days they were there.
