I want to bring vitamins and natural supplements that I am taking down there....haven't done this before.

I will probably just put in my checked bag.

Are you wondering if they will be scrutinized at customs or just informing us of your intentions?

I don't think you'll have a problem as long as you mix them up really good with the Ecstacy you're smuggling.

Mine were all mixed together in my carry on bag and no questions. The only thing the Mexican authorities had a problem with was my tweezers!!!???

Tweezers, nail file, nail scissors - all of those are okay to have in your carryon here in the US, but in Mexico apparently if the person checking you thru has a need for them, they can be confiscated.

We've had a small screwdriver and wire cutters go thru just fine on the way into Mexico, but on the way home they were confiscated. Again, must have something to do with filling up the toolbox of the person checking you thru security in MX.

We tend to check our bags now.

For years I have traveled with LOTS of supplements. Just leave them in the original bottle or put small amounts in separate baggies and stuff them all into a larger bottle. Never any issues.
