We would like to get our pesos there tomorrow but have no idea where it is. We will likely arrive at Terminal 2 as we are on Westjet. Thanks, guys.

In terminal 3, as you come out of customs, right across from the doorway you will see a small hall that leads to the the restrooms, the atm is in that hall way

fidget - I remember you asking this a while back - I swear I checked my mapchick airport map and didn't see an atm thingy on the Terminal 2.

Ya, I didn't see one on the map either. Well that sucks. Oh well, we have enough pesos from last time to get us to Akumal and we can just use the ones there.

I'm pretty sure there is one in terminal 2. I come in there often, you come right through the departure gates, with all the shops and restaurants. Look around, I think you will see one, I know there is one down the hall towards TGIF.

Terminal 2 has two ATMs in the departure area.

One is located on the outside wall where the entry doors are around the middle of the building. The second one is just to the left if you are facing the immigration checkin screening.

THere is an ATM just before you exit Terminal 2 which is just to the right of the doors. It is all Spanish but easy to figure out and you can get 6000 pesos if you punch it in . :-) We didn't go thru the departure lounge on our arrival this time, but found this one just before our exit, Yay!

Right of which doors? The ones you pass after doing the red light/green light thing? Or the ones for the parking lot/ground transportation? I always seem to miss it. I assume it's in the corridor (aka "the gauntlet") between customs and the exit. I remember there' a point where you need to drop off your luggage cart (and guys descend on you to help you with your bags) - is it before or after that point?

Thanks! Last time I ended going back into the terminal, went up to the departures level and found an ATM there but I'd rather avoid that if possible.

If you can not find one in your terminal. Go to the departure terminal and as you walk in go all way down to your left almost to the end . There is a Banco Santander Atm and a Banco Santander bank in the terminal, as you face the bank the Atm is on your left. Free for BOA customers

the money exchange is not the best rate. The Atm is a lot better.

Yup, that's the one I ended up finding after missing the ATM in Terminal 2 arrivals. The thing is by the time I got back to the EasyWay Shuttle, the rest of the passengers (including my own family) were ready to kill me since I was holding up the start of their vacations!

Figured it out this trip.

1) the ATM was past the Cambio facing people head on but sort of off to the right where people existing the arrivals area are heading left (I see why I may have missed it in the past)
2) we found 2 on the departures level - one as gary1p mentioned, and another opposite where Westjet and JetBlue checkins are.
3) we weren't permitted to go through the departures area as we headed to customs (never has been like this before) so those ATMs weren't useful.
