Groceries - La Pueblito on the right and Chomak straight ahead. Decent selection between the two and they are small local businesses.

to support the little guys. The market place is on the left.

Hekabe Biblioteca - the library, where the little ones come to learn.

Ixchel Boutique - I love this shop!

(Next to Turtle Bay Cafe)

Jesus loves the little children .... all little children of the world ..... peace.

Kitty Kats - just LOVED our condo.

Time for some food porn

Loncheria, oh man, how have I missed this all these years? Next to the Super Chomack, this place is heaven on earth as far as good simple food. Very affordable too.

Polla Sopa - chicken soup. This was one of my favorite meals of the trip.

Cheese quesadillas

Chili relleno

Pok Chuk

Pork tacos

Loncheria breakfast - champions for sure.

Love your pictures!!! The casitas are a nice location. Did you have problems with bugs at night?

Wonder who those loco night snorkelers were???

I only had room for ice cream, but I was wishing I had tried the shrimp tacos too.
Salted caramel is every bit as decadent as it sounds, and fresh ginger was a perfect topper to Turtle Bay's breakfast.

I am Miss Piggy when on vacation. No apologies. Pure and simple, I LOVE good food and that is a big part of why I travel. Which brings me to one of my personal favorites of all time.....

Turtle Bay Bakery and Cafe. I love you!!!

... and breakfast.

No problems with bugs at the Casitas. They were very nice, and it worked well for our group.

Those rowdy late night water fiends just would not stay outta the water.

Great stuff PnJ!!!
I have a weakness for the Loncheria. (I love the atmosphere of sitting at that counter watching life go by in that corner of town and I like that if you want a beer you have to go get your own at the Chomak next door!) :) Food is fresh and good and service great.

Si! Ahmed is still there and a very nice addition to their staff.
I am missing my daily Turtle Bay fix.

They have the best people and the best food too!

The bakery is amazing and definitely NOT bikini friendly, but who cares? At that point, it is all too good to pass up.
