Yak snorkelling is encouraged, though they are wiley creatures and there are no known photos of yaks in Akumal Bay. Good luck Jm, you could be the first! Yaks adhere to no regs, in fact there are no regs that specify yaks at all that we can find. Just watch that the drain doesn't get clogged with yak hair and no one will be the wiser.

Today I planted lettuce, chard, spinach, kohlrabi, carrots, beets and onions in the new "old lady garden boxes" my honey built for me. Think I worried him last year when I told him I got stuck on my hands and knees in the garden and it took me 5 or 10 minutes to get my back organized enought to stand up. So these are 18" boxes, I can sit on the edge to plant and weed. Yeah! Wore shorts to boot and got a little pink from all that lovely sun! Love springtime in the Rockies. Now it's time to saddle up the yak and ride. Yippee!

WHAT NO FERNS WHAT THE HECK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya gotta love the weather was beautiful in Calgary all weekend to. perfect beer drinkin weather. I even managed to get the RV ready for campin season May longweek is less then 2 weeks away

Reminder, stay out of the Yurtville mangroves. Don't be like "alligator bait" here.

Authorities say a Florida man ran from the law and into an alligator's jaws.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Bryan Zuniga was pulled over for failing to maintain a single lane Thursday at about 2:50 a.m.

Deputies say Zuniga stopped the vehicle and jumped out of the passenger door. He then broke through a vinyl fence and escaped.

The Tampa Bay area man was found at a local hospital a few hours later. He told deputies he had been attacked by an alligator near a water treatment plant. He was being treated for multiple puncture wounds to the face, arm and armpit area.

He has been charged with fleeing police, driving with a suspended or revoked license and resisting an officer without violence.

Why can't the police charge people with "terminal stupidity" - guess the jails would just get too full.

Checking in and checking out...I am packed and only mildly buzzed..Pooks is asleep in the man cave...hasn't packed..I get the stuff...he can pack in 10 minutes...2 weeks..4 t-shirts..4 bathing suits,,4 champion shorts..travel clothes..hats..I have all the rest of the xit!.,..so he's gonna scramble at 3am.....he ends up in detention...which will be cocktail on the plane..

Attention: Do NOT let Trevor into the Yurtville Country Store!

Trevor Runyon spent the night alone inside a Kentucky grocery store and will likely be spending several more nights in jail.
That’s because Runyon allegedly went on a feeding frenzy, eating six steaks, drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and finishing the night off with some shrimp and a birthday cake.
Video surveillance shows the 30-year-old Runyon sneaking into the ValuMarket outlet just before closing time, then hiding out until the doors were closed and the employees had gone home for the night.
Officer Michael Huffman told WAVE3 that after Runyon was done eating and drinking, he then changed into some new clothes and climbed into the store’s rafters to sleep.
When the store’s manager showed up on Monday morning he says he found 57 cans of Redi-Whip whipped cream cans in the garbage.
After Runyon was spotted, local firefighters were called in to remove him from the rafters, after which police took him into custody.

That boy had hisself a baddddd case of the munchies! 57 cans of rediwhip and six steaks? Sounds like he's ready to check into the cardiac care ward of the local hospital.
