I just found this app on my Iphone called "Live Cams Free" by EarthCam, Inc. its a free app w/tons of places all over the world that has webcams. Now you can have direct access right on your phone.

Thought it was pretty cool...also gives you so info of the area as well as the current temp!

I guess things were going my way today as I stumbled upon this app by accident! Like these kinds of accidents!

***You can email the webcam photo and also capture a pic right on your phone! Hoping the WIFI at Lolha works infront of cam to do this...that would be cool. Otherwise we'll have to chime our LG friends to capture it for us.....

For those that missed this ---check it out! Looks like several LG'rs have downloaded this app & love it as much as I do....it so sick that my kids now have it on their ipods! Maybe they'll spot Mom & Dad very soon or not?

Tons of fun....besides we love the beach and for those of us enjoying cold temps & snow are loving this site!

I only have a mere Crackberry and there isn't an app for the webcam on there, BUT I do have an ipod touch and I found the app for it :)

thanks for showing me yet another way to kill my ipod's battery

p.s. my wife says i'm OBSESSED!

I found the app for my Android phone in the Android Market . Do a search for Live Cams Free and download. It shows in the App list as Earth Cam after the download. I now have the webcam available anytime. Thanks for the info Midnight.

I feel bad. I didn't know no one knew about this. That is how we were checking the Bay to see about fishing while staying at the Palladium back in mid December. The temp is not quite accurate cause it was cold as night and it read warmer?!? Maybe the palapa holds heat! My hubby is addicted to the camera! He checks it at lunch everyday looking for Francisco his fishing buddy!! Going back in May!!

Picked up on Gary`s post and followed his link. When I try to Download I get an itunes message telling me the app isn`t available in the UK itunes store. Any way around this please?

^^^^^. Geordie, you can change the iTunes store to US. There's a flag icon near the bottom of iTunes. Switch it to US but you'll need to set up a new Apple ID and use a new email address. It's fairly easy - I have both a Canadian and US iTunes ID and it works fine. The only hitch is that you can only be on 1 store at a time, so if there are updates on one store, you won't see them from the other.

BTW, the LG webcam is back on the Mexico menu.
