This is for you, Rose, and all you other “smiley lovers” out there! Give it a try – let’s see everyone ROFL!!!!

Here is your simple (I hope) instruction to post this smiley! ALL you need to do is copy and paste the following on your post:

[image]?http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_6.gif?[/image]

The only thing you have to do after you copy and paste is: delete the two question marks that are in bold red. I put the question marks in only to prevent it from working! Are you with me? Okay, Rose/anybody are you ready to try???

Okay, lets see if I'm as good at cut and paste as I thing?

I love it when when it works! Anything really! Okay Cata.....now that I have the basic idea of what it's supposed to look like, does this mean that anytime I want to post a photo, the url goes inbetween the two bracketed images?

You got it Irene!! Yes, the url goes exactly between the two bracketed images! Normally the url will start with "http" and end with "gif!"

Very wierd. The bracket was there when I posted, but then it was gone when the message appeared. I went in and edited; it worked, but the bracket still didn't show. Obviously my computer is haunted, that's why I can't get to do all these clever things!!!!

Hey Joanne and Tony!! I would love to help, but to tell you the truth, I would have to go back and review some notes I sent to Rose and maybe add a little more to it!!

For now, if there is a particular smiley you want, just email/PM me and I will email/PM you the URL you need to insert between the bracketed images!!!

If you use windows you can open two different copies of Internet Explorer at the same time. Just go to LocoG in one and Smiley central in the other one. You'll need to shrink the windows a little so you can see them both. Or you can go to your smiley, copy the url from the address line, then go back to LG and paste the url in your message. If you don't understand how to do any of this let me know and I'll give you more details.

Cata, when we tried to put a smiley on a regular email, it worked fine. Clicked on the smiley and it appeared in the email. We will try what Whale suggested. Whale thanks for the idea. Cata thanks to you also. What have we gotten ourselves into

Hey J & T when I copy the URL to this format I will get something like this:

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm398' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_28.gif' alt='Grrr' border=0></a>

The above is more than you need! I have to delete everything in this URL except the part in bold! The part in bold between the two bracketed images will give you (in this instance) the following:

Hope this is helping - I have had to play around with this quite a bit!!!
