Okay this forum is growing in leaps and bounds and I gotta admit some of the handles out there are boring (like mine) but some are really "out there" and frankly I don't get them.... Some make me laugh every time I see them, maybe cause of the Avatars I don't know..... Might be fun if you explain what your name is all about or the story behind picking it? LIKE (I'm not pickin on ya or anything) WHAT IS htraenoecaep OR Jick or Kufan... (your avatar is a riot) I'll start.....First time to a forum so didn't know I should make something up....see boring!!! NEXT....COME ON.....

I live in Texas. Thanks - Steve haha Or you can call me sst which is my nickname and what I use for all my production work. I took the Steve in Texas name because that was my original LG name 10 YEARS ago when I first joined up...

Guess I am gonna jump in here..Journey has been my nickname for years, when one of my friends called me by this and it stuck. Then my granddaughter came along and they changed the spelling, but, the name is still the same, "Jerney". Perfect name, she is such a little trip, full of spunk, spark and enthusiasm for life. I felt honored to have her share my name and to be her "nanna". I fell in love with the Roo in the first ten minutes of my first visit, not just with the water and sand, but, with the mayan people and their ways, their connection to the earth and it's energy. It wasn't hard to combine the things I love the most to become "Mayajerney".

Naugrim means "dwarf" in Elvish. i'm a bit of an LOTR geek. the name came about when i made my first screenname for a game called StarCraft. i origionally tried for the name Carcharoth, but it was already taken, so i went with Naugrim. =D

Hi Michelle I have no idea how my name came about. Oh, just a minute - that is my name!!!! BORING!!!!!!!!!! Can't change now, because I don't want to back to one post and then Whale will have to do a new Avatar for me and it's all just too confusing!! Besides, nobody would know who I was!

I do alot of hiking and I can go uphill faster than I can go down that same trail lots of times. The spelling makes me not have to be uphillclimber 2047 or some such thing. I post everywhere under that name, it is distinctive. Also, in a previous life, my whole life was an uphill klimb. That's not so much true anymore.

Good idea Michelle Well, five years ago i decided to join in the fantasy football craze that hubby was in so I took over his losing team and brought it to the top He couldn't believe what I had done with it. Picked up unknowns and they ended up doing very well. Made some good trades etc. He was so impressed he named me "footballgoddesss" Since then I'm kind of fantasy football nutz As for the avatar?????????? Well that's my real name !!!!!

I was sitting around a table drinking and playing cards with friends when one of them started talking about renovations to their house. She was trying to explain the kind of texture on her ceiling and said......."you know what I mean...that Pokey Stipple stuff" I thought - what a great internet name and have used it ever since. Yes, I'm just the texture on your ceiling!

Emel - you coulda put "in Texas" on your screen name. When I first signed up like 10 years ago EVERBODY had "in Texas" or "from Florida" or wherever theyw ere from in their screen name. I took a few years off from the board and when I came back used my original name just so that if any old timeres were still around they'd remember me. Turns out only two people did, so now I wished I'd have picked something a tad cooler...

Good question Michelle! I've been wondering about a few screen names also. My name is actually kind of stupid IMHO. I ended up becoming the de facto "team mom" for my son's rugby team, but I had stated from the beginning that I did not want the team mom moniker. I also declined to be the rugby queen. If any of you know rugby, you'd understand why I declined that position also. I was known as the Queen Mum for a short while and then one of my son's friend started calling me Princess and it just stuck. They even gave me a tiara and I display it proudly. Told you it was stupid. Even if I could change it, I don't have a clue what I would change it to.
